OK, so if you have been with this blog from the beginning...which is only like 3 or 4 of you...I change the blog background when something big happens or is about to happen...Ive never truly loved the backgrounds I have picked, but hey, free is free, and if I have to pay to make my own, I will settle for "I like it as much as possible".
So I had a background to start the blog...I changed it when Caden died and then again when the captain decided to scare us all to bits with a brain tumor...now...my son is on the way and I feel a nice change for him is in order. (that and it is raining out, my house is still clean, I am ready for the hospital, and I have nothing better to do with my time then search for blog backgrounds...)
SO, I know it is girly....or more so than the last...but hey, I write the blasted thing, I should have the most say! Flowers and polka dots it is! At least until I decide to change it again...
My mother is an insomniac...no kidding. When I was little I knew whenever I would get up at night, she would be awake. I thought all mothers were like that until my first sleepover and I woke up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom. The house was quiet...no lights, no TV, No mother rearranging the furniture at 3 in the morning...YUP, that's what my mom does. She rearranges the living room furniture in the wee hours of the morn. This must be where I get my need for changing the blog background... I am just sensible enough to do it during daylight!
OK, enough for the reasons and justifications...Captain, sorry for the flowers, but I liked them!
Keep scrolling down to my last post if you haven't already read it so you can see the Riggeroni's room.
OK, I think I am done until I can announce the birth of our son...less then 24 hours from now I will be in the hospital...thanks for the prayers.
PAIN FREE....remember!

Some have commented that they cannot see my new background...I have checked it, and the captain can see it from his computer...can you see it? Let me know would ya?

OK, so half of you can see it and the other half can't...I wonder if it is the size or setting on your screen...The middle column is a bit bigger than the last one...oh well. If you see only the middle it is cream and distressed...the side columns are the fun part...just imagine grey and cream polka dots and then a fun floral motif. See now you are all caught up.

Our Mom's must be twins separated at birth!!!
Maybe they could call each other when the other isn't sleeping!!
I'm not getting any polka dots or flowers?!
Somehow I got shivers and goosebumps when I read that Rigg will be here in 24 hours.........I know it in my brain but the reality just hit my heart!!
I just talked to Mindy, she's coming over tomorrow after Rachel's appointment and we'll hang out, eat Chick-fil-a in your honor and wait for word - keep the info coming or we'll be pounding down the door. Love you sweeties - and of course we are praying (even for the pain free part!!) Can't wait! Gma b
I don't see the flowers & polka dots either :(
My mom was always up really late too - her activity of choice was ironing - I had the best-ironed wardrobe in my class! She would have rearranged furniture or vacuumed or rearranged the kitchen - but my dad was sleeping so she had to be quiet.
Good luck with your delivery!
LOVE the new background! :)
i can see the new background and love it!!! good luck with l&d!!!!!
I know I am a stranger to you but you are not to me. I have been following your blog for a while now and praying for your sweet family. You have such a great way with words and I think we would be friends in real life.
I will be praying for you tomorrow and know that God will fill you with the joy that only He can give.
Love the new blog page! All the best for your little boys arrival! God Bless!

Cari,
I seriously have blog background ADD. I need to change my background every three months. Ideally I'd like to change it as the seasons change but I get bored to easily. And I'm probably procrastinating a ton of different things... :) I LOVE your new background. Great pick! You're awesome! peace to you girlfriend!

Hey Cari, I can't see the background, it just looks like someone stripped wallpaper off the wall..... you know like there is brown glue on the drywall!! Hey, let's just tell Ken I need a new computer (wink-wink as Julie would say!!) b
We can't see it either.....
I can see it!! It could maybe be that the people who can't see it may be using Internet Explorer. I've run into that problem from time to time!!
Hope that helps!
I can't see the background either. I have no idea how to change mine. I will definitely be praying for pain free and I cannot wait to see pics of little Rigg. I pray that everything will go quickly and smoothly. Pain free!
I can't wait to see the little Riggster! And for the record...I see no flowers and polkadots....See you on Sunday!

I can see it! I had a similar problem on mine one time. I changed to a different layout and people using Mozilla Firefox couldn't see it. I had to get someone else to fix it, so sorry I can't help you there.
Praying everything goes well and pain free (ha ha) tomorrow!
I'm sad- I can't see your polka dots or flowers...but it sounds cute! Praying for your (pain free) delivery!
I can't see it either....thought I was crazy until I read to the end of your post and you said some people were having trouble seeing it!! Oh, well...I'm sure it looks great. Just wanted you to know that I'm SO EXCITED for you and will be praying for an easy "pain free" delivery. Can't wait to see pictures.
I use Firefox and noticed this morning that I CAN'T see it upstairs on our old computer but CAN see it downstairs on my laptop. I'm guessing it has something to do w/ the widescreen. Not sure.
Waiting anxiously to hear news of the Riggster's arrival! :) And praying...
terse
Praying today. Can't wait to see Rigg's grand entrance to the blog world!
