a small glimpse

So We have been hard at work on Rigg's room. It is NOT DONE. So the pictures in this post are only a small glimpse of the final project. There is still TONS of trash, odds and ends, and other miscellaneous objects floating around in there. So please...keep that in mind as you see what we have been up to.

Here is the Captain helping paint the first stripe.
Here is me...doing just about the same thing.
Here is my dad...showing off the wonderful job he did of hanging the signs above Rigg's crib.
The crib in place with all the UNWASHED bedding...I just had to see what it would look like!

A super fun rug we found for the room.

A fabulous wall decal with our sons name displayed.

Now here is the decal with the license plates surrounding it.

More signage above the changing table.

The sign in the corner used to be on a power plant wall about a million years ago.
Dad took it for himself because he thought it was so funny...I love it too.

Well, that is what we have done for now...hope you liked it. I will post more pictures later when other things are accomplished. We have a small table going under the window and other fun objects going into the room...but we will have to be patient...very large pregnant women can only do so much at one time.

What a cute room! LOVE the caution sign - perfect for a boy. As I recall from my nephews though you'll have to watch Rigg like a hawk regarding the spitting (& peeing in random places too LOL).

Oh! I just love his room! Makes me wish I had picked colors like that for my son's nursery instead of baby blue. LOL!

Scott will be so jealous when he sees Rigg's room. The monkey theme is certainly not as original. Anyway, you are SO talented and very creative! I love it!

Oh your creativity astounds me. When can you come to my house and just decorate one of my rooms? Not that you have anything going on right now. I love it. It is such an awesome boys room. I also love the power plant sign. It makes you wonder what really went on there that they had to actually post that sign.

Only your father... it kind of reminds me of Ren & Stimpy - "don't whiz on the electric fence!"

Wow! That room is amazing!! And you are adorable and pregnant - large bellies are the best :) I can say this enthusiatically because this pregnancy my belly is HUGE!
I love the idea for Rigg's room...and I love the name Rigg. My old roommate and I always said we wanted to name a son Rigg because of a Lori Wick series we read :) Great name!

I stumbled across your blog through one of the "mutual" ones we read. This is truly the most unique nurseries I've EVER seen. And he can grow up in it. Very creative. (I love orange, too. Such a fun color!) =)
Congrats on your new son!
In my first comment, I also want to tell you how sorry I was when I read about your Caden. She's beautiful!
