I shall prevail

So the last two nights I have had weird dreams...really weird dreams. I think it might be the sugar I am ingesting while watching shows RIGHT BEFORE bed...so to counter this effect I will eat no more oatmeal cream pies (before bed) forever. Or at least tonight.

And since I have no will power whatsoever. I have been working at finishing off the box all day today...no worries, I am a woman of integrity, I will accomplish what I set out to do. Those cream pies do not stand a chance.

And I wonder, as I look at photographs of my very pregnant self, why I have no chin...or I guess why I have 2 or 3 chins, just no jawline to save my life.

Ahh well...cream pies here I come.

Haha! I felt like that a hundred times over during my pregnancies. I say go for it. You're not pregnant forever. Live in the moment(s)!

I've been lurking for quite a while, never knowing exactly what to say. Not wanting it to sound shallow or trite. I've been drawn to your blog time and time again because of your God-given strength.

I, too, am a believer (my husband and I are pastors at a church in Colorado) and have watched as people struggle to understand the whys. There is something about the way that God has been walking with you through times that I can not even begin to imagine, that challenges me, inspires me, and teaches me.

Thank you for allowing me to learn from Him through you. Thank you for your honesty and your humility and your humor :) I have been blessed by you and your family and cannot wait to meet you in heaven.

Bless you!

Cari,

Go for it girl! I'm going grocery shopping tonight and I'm going to buy me some of those yellow lookin Oreos. I love the chocolate ones so I can only imagine how dreamy the vanilla oreos will taste! I too wonder where has my neck, chin, waist and mobility have gone. But let's celebrate this day with sugar!

Those golden oreos are haunting me, I must try them. I may have to buy them when I go grocery shopping tomorrow. I wish I had something sweet in my house. I had to call my husband at work last night and ask him to get me peanut m & m's out of the vending machine. I was slightly desperate.

I've been having terrible dreams all week....mom too. Ack. What's up with this? And you don't have three chins....you look great!! Remember how swollen you were with Caden right before you delivered, and then it immediately went away after little girl came. And as I'm typing this There Will Be a Day is playing on the radio....why do I bother with makeup anymore?

I love how you relay a story... you have me laughing and bawling all at the same time! And I, too, am an OTHER :)
