From the man himself

OK folks, I have what everyone wants...No silly, not that!

A video of Andy!!!! Just so you can see for yourself how well he is doing. I am sorry about the ginormous pregnant belly he filmed at the beginning...please ignore.

As for some other things. A comment on my last post asked about my daughter Caden. Here is the latest update...and I do men latest. I just got off the phone with IU/Riley med center this afternoon.

My daughter had been sick with a fever for 3 days. On the 4th day she had no fever, but was still not feeling well. Andy and I took her to the Dr. who said she was getting over a viral infection and she would be fine. 3:30 that afternoon she went into a seizure and never came out of it. Up until now we do not know what caused her death. We now have an apt. on April 30th to speak with some Dr.'s who have been further looking into her death. I do not believe they have an exact cause, but are erring on the side of caution for the baby I am now pregnant with, by meeting with us. We will know more after the 30th.

I am also thinking about changing my blog background...I changed it after Caden passed, I think a brain tumor and brain surgery call for another change. If you check back and I look different...no worries, just up for a new look.

Thanks again for the prayers. God has been so good to us.

I recognize all those staples, as I had 38. He's lucky to just have one row. I had them in 9 different spots all over my head. He looks great, as do you. If you go to our blog in November, you can see all my staples and even pics of the doc removing them, it he wants to see what the process looks like...it wasn't nearly as big of a deal as I thought.

Still praying!

Cari,

I think this is the first time I've posted on your blog - but I just had to - because it was SO wonderful to see Andy and let us all see for ourselves how well he's doing. I know he's got a ways to go - but I'm VERY impressed - and I love the verse you guys have committed to pray and memorize. Hang in there Andy - we love you!!!!!!!!!

Okay I'm an idiot - of course the first time I leave a post I don't even include my name. The previous comment was from me...

I don't know if this will help, but after reading your blog daily for about a week now (I started at the beginning and read the whole thing) I would like to leave a comment. Have they looked into or are the able to look into the possibility of Epilepsy? I was born with it and my parents fought for two years to get a diagnosis. I started having seizures with a high fever, almost the same as you are explaining with your daughter. I would be fever free but had just come out of it the day before and I would go into a seizure. After two years I was diagnosed with Epilepsy and put on medication which made me seizure free for years. I didn't have any more problems until in adult hood after going through 3 miscarriages which somehow triggered my Epilepsy. I don't know if this helps, or if it is something they have checked, just wanted to put that out there. I pray for you and your family nightly. This is something that I hope you get closure on.

Cari,

You are totally a slave drive, but I cannot believe how great Andy looks. We are still praying for you. You know I think you are amazing (well, God is amazing and you are living proof of that). I am bringing you dinner tomorrow so I will call you tomorrow afternoon! I love the video. And I love the verse you are memorizing.

Andi, it is wonderful to see the man behind all the prayers we've been sending up about. I am so happy to see you recovering wonderfully. We will continue to pray for your recovery and the many days ahead.

Thank you for sharing the verse. When you first turned the camera to Andi I wondered what that was behind him...so glad you shared it. It was actually a verse I needed to hear today.

God bless you both...and little one inside. I pray you find peace in your appt at the end of the month as well.

I am so glad that Andy is doing so well. God will get you guys through. My father in law had a brain tumor back in 2006 and he is doing great now. His was not cancerous. Just always remember to live your life for the present and never put off til tomorrow what you can do today.
I am praying for answers for you about Caden, I love that name. Also, I am lifting your little boy up to God and asking Him watch over him and bring him into this world healthy. Also that he lives a heathly life with you and Andy.
Sorry I have rambled on, just wanted you to know that I am thinking of you.

My husband and I have been praying for you since we saw you on Kellyskorner... My heart breaks for what you have gone through but I know that God will use and is using this for His glory! We are still praying for you and the new baby as well. You guys are truly a testament of what it means to have faith and trust.

I'm so happy that things are going well for you and your husband. You both deserve the best. Most people coudn't do the things you do and come out of it with a sane mind. You inspire me, really.
I asked many of my friends and family to pray for you and Andy, and they all accepted. You must have hundreds of people praying for you every minute.
I hope that everything goes well with your doctor appointment. I'll pray for that and continued recovery. :)

Andy and Cari,

You don't know me but I am a friend of the Kramer's and have been praying for Andy's full recovery and for God to strengthen you, Cari, since I spoke with Rick last week. This is the real beauty of Christ's church as we all pray for each others welfare. May our awesome God continue to meet all of your needs in the days ahead. Your brother in Christ.

It is great to see you out of the hospital, Andy. Keep up the exercises.
You two are a great couple.

Perhaps, when you get to filling better, would you consider coming to my Young Married Sunday School class and give your testimonies of how God has worked in your lives?
