A post with info... that is not really info.

I feel like I have lots to say...
and as I sit here staring at my screen my mind is a bit blank.

I was feeling the pressure to update you... and the reality is we are still in a bit of a holding pattern. We can not move forward until Andy's staples come out... which is Tuesday.
Then we have a decision to make.

A pick your poison kinda decision.
Which kind of radiation will we blast into the Captain's brain?
Which one? Which one?

So prayers for wisdom and clarity are much appreciated.

Also...we are trying to sort out some paperwork issues... some finance issues... some very stressful and uncomfortable situations regarding money.
Real life kinda stinks.

However... stinky parts of life aside...
We are doing well.
God is covering us with care and comfort, and I know that is in large part due to all the prayers you are lifting up on our behalf.

I am overwhelmed (in such a good way) by all the love, care, meals, cards, gifts, prayers, and comments that we have received.
I read and reread all the comments from my posts.
And I am amazed at what God has done. Not just for me and my family... but through this journey we are on... God is working in your lives as well... and I am so floored by how huge His scope is sometimes.

Thank you, from the bottom of my heart for loving my family.
It is felt, by the Captain and me.

Thanks for taking the time to update your blog so we can pray more specifically for you guys. Some of my friends (strangers to you) are also praying for you and I give them updates also! This verse comes to mind for you tonight.... a reminder of God as our refuge & strength.
Psa 46:1-3 — God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; though the waters roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof.

I'm keeping you in my thoughts and prayers as you make these decisions and deal with the issues you're facing.

Love and prayers to you all.I thank you for taking time to update the blog, I constantly have your family in my heart and am thankful for the updates, and I am just a "blog stalker", the love and prayers you must have from people who actually know you, must be amazing. As I have commented before, your faith is an inspiration and gift to me.

Cari, I wanted to order your book For The Hard Things a while ago but kept forgetting. I ordered it tonight, I want to do this tiny thing to tangibly help your family and I hope you can mention the book again so others know about this opportunity.
Thinking about you all,

You have no idea who I am. I began reading your blog after Captain's first tumor was found. I've continued to read as I've always liked your name & the spelling :) and you have three beautiful children. I often am thankful to read your blog to see that there is another mom who loves their children as much as I do, who stresses about her house as much as I do, who worries about money but knows its going to be alright as much as I do. I've missed catching up the last couple of weeks- life's been crazy. To my shock and horror, I read about the recurrence of the tumor. I am SO sorry that you are going through this. I wish nothing more for your family to be healthy, well and stress free. I read the posts earlier and came back because, frankly, you've been on my mind and in my prayers all day. I wish I could watch your boys or send you money or bring over a meal (like you were going through unemployment a few months ago, now we are) but since I can physically help, I'll do what I can do best which is pray. I will pray for God's grace and understanding. Pray for God's healing hand, pray for finances and for a miracle. Pray for everyone and everything involved. Please know that you are being held up in prayer!

I AM ADRESSING ALL THE PEOPLE WHO LOVE ANDY AND CARI!!!
LET'S HELP THEM FINANCIALLY, LET'S ASK CARI TO WRITE HER BANK ACCOUNT AND EACH ONE OF US WILL SEND THE SUM OF MONEY HE/SHE CAN AFFORD!!!
THEY NEED IT NOW! THERE IS A LATIN PROVERB:BIS DAT QUI CITO DAT (you give twice as much if you have given it quickly,i.e.,when the person needs it). Besides, A FRIEND IN NEED IS A FRIEND INDEED!!!Salaries in my country are very miserable (the average equals to 450-500$;Bulgaria is the poorest of all the countries in the European Union, and not only), but I will gladly send a sum I can afford.I love this family!!!
