an update and a reminder

UPDATE:

Remember when I told you about my close friend Lauren?
and her super precious son Michael?

Her super precious, teeny, tiny, itty, bitty, born at 24 weeks son?

He is a strong one.
He is a fighter.
He is loved, loved, loved.

I was going to write an update...
but I think it would be better, and nicer, and oh-so lovely if you clicked on over to Lauren's blog and read her words about her son.

AND
left her a sweet message about Michael, about your praying for him, about how mighty Our God is, about how cute Michael looks in his pumpkin hat...
about anything... comments (and prayers) are coveted from those in trials...
So let's encourage and edify Lauren and Scott...

Go on..
encourage...

GO!

REMINDER:

While we are in "encourage" mode, please do not forget about K and S and their heartache over the loss of their sweet, sweet boy, Judah.

They need prayer... and love and comfort...
and comments to show them that they are not forgotten...that Judah is not forgotten... that God is BIG,  and Mighty and doing an awesome work through them and their sweet boy's short life...

So click here and encourage them today with a comment...

Go on...
GO!

Went to Lauren's blog, became a follower, but for some reason Blogger wouldn't let me comment on her post. Going to try to paste my comment for her and you could try to post for me or e-mail it to her. Thanks.
To Lauren,
Came from Cari's blog. Michael is beautiful! Just yesterday a 14 month old and I had a conversation. She was also a 1 lb. preemie (about three months early). She fought hard and is absolutely adorable and trying to crawl. She is a little behind from spending months in NICU, but she is a living, breathing miracle~ steadily surprising her doctor. :) God is good! Prayers from Louisiana for Michael to continue to surpass the medical expectations and for HIM to get the glory. God bless Michael and your family! :)
PS The baby's family name is also Duncan. :)

Couldn't comment on Lauren's blog - so here is what I wanted to leave her. Feel free to email it to her!

Lauren! I followed a link to you from Cari Chastain's site. Your son is so precious! A friend of mine's daughter was born pre-mature as well. Take courage! My friend's daughter is now almost 3 years old and developmentally ahead of her peers! In Isaiah God promises to be with us when the waves threaten, the flames shoot high, and the waters try to sweep us away. AFTER these verses, in that same chapter, God makes a WONDERFUL statement. He says that NO ONE can undo what he has done! He delivered your little Iron Man to you, and He will only do what is absolutely best for your family. My family's and my prayers and love are coming at you lady!
